Kashid

Kashid is an idyllic beachfront, very popular getaways ex-Mumbai and Ex-Pune getaway. Kashid has a 3 km beachfront which is excellent for a walk. Kashid with its lush green surroundings and the soft sandy beach doesn’t take long to capture the imagination of any nature lover.

  • Kaas Plateau

Kaas Plateau is known for various types of wild flowers which bloom during August-September every year. The area of plateau is located at a height of 1200 mt and is approximately 1,000 hectare. The Kaas Plateau also known as the “Kaas Pathar” is a plateau situated in the Western Ghat Sahyadri range, 22 kilometers from Satara City in Maharashtra state of India.

  • Hari Hareshwar

Harihareshwar Temple is a major Pilgrimage centre at 190 km from Mumbai and about 170 kms from Pune. Harihareshwar is renowned tourist spot in Konkan for its temples and beaches. It is surrounded by four hills named Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, Bramhadri and Pushpadri. The river Savitri enters the Arabian Sea from the town of Harihareshwar.

  • Kamshet

Nestled in the Western Ghats about 118 km from Mumbai, Kamshet straddles the ancient trade route between the Konkan region and Pune. Kamshet is surrounded by immense scenic beauty, and is home to small villages that are built in the traditional style. Kamshet is also Popular for Para-gliding Sport. Soaring over the Pawna Lake and gliding over the beautiful countryside, provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  • Karjat

Scenic natural vistas, mountains, forts and ancient rock-cut cave temples make Karjat, 68 km from Mumbai, popular among trekkers. Karjat has an average elevation of 636 ft. Its climate and scenic splendor make it convenient for adventure sports like trekking, waterfall climbing, rappelling and river rafting in river Ulhas. Karjat is a preferred spot for weekend holidays, picnics, river rafting, trekking, hiking, and mountain climbing. It is a favored destination during rainy season.

  • Malshejghat

Malshej Ghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range in the Pune District of Maharashtra, India. Malshej Ghat area is also well visited by local hikers, trekkers and adventure lovers during monsoon. Malshej Ghat is home to exotic flamingoes who migrate here during Winter. For the outdoor enthusiast and the adventure seeker, there are trekking trails in the surrounding hills to be traversed, for the nature lover there are gushing waterfalls and the verdant flora and fauna to be enjoyed.

  • Khodala

Khodala is a hillside hamlet (1800 ft asl) between Jahwar and Nashik. Khodala offers calm & quiet ambiance and nature centric experience. Khodala comes alive in monsoon when spontaneous waterfalls spring up all around the area and the area becomes green and misty.

  • Bordi

Bordi is an idyllic beachfront, 160 km North of Mumbai surrounded by fruit orchards (lot of Chikoo Orchards) all over the area. Bordi offers small homestay like accommodation, casuarina trees and a clear beachfront that is good for walks and swimming. Drives through Bordi area is renowned for Chickoo plantations and old Parsi Zorastrian heritage bungalows on one side and Arabian sea on the other.

  • Chikaldhara Wildlife

This sanctuary is located near the Melghat Tiger Project, which is situated in Dhakana-Kolkaz National Park. The best time to visit Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary is between October and June. Some of the important animal species in this sanctuary include wild boar, sambar, wild dog, panther, tiger and sloth bear, among others. This wildlife sanctuary is also known for its waterfalls, lakes and rich wildlife.

  • Pawna Lake

Located within a close proximity to Maval in Maharashtra, Pavana Lake came into existance after the Pavana Dam was built. Tucked away amidst the Sahyadri Ranges, this soon getting all the attentions from the nature lovers, usual backpackers, campers and other classes of visitors to the region. An ideal camping destination, this stunning water body along with the vicinity is also known for activities like parasailing, kayaking, windsurfing and boating.
