CORONA has stopped everything all around the world and 2020 year is considered as the nightmare for the travel lovers and tourists. There were so many plans which have been stalled and put the entire world into the quarantine for the most part of this year without any outdoor adventure and fun.

On June 11, Himachal Government opened their borders for Tourism with Safety Guidelines including Covid19 Negative Test Reports and advance booking for 5 days and more.

Now, the Himachal Government has eased the safety guidelines for tourism which we would like to mention for all the tourists seeking for little outdoor fun.

  1. The Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, HP has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP's) for opening of tourism units in the states, as per guidelines/advisory issued by the Revenue Department - Disaster Management Cells and Health & Welfare Department.

  2. The minimum duration of stay required previously is now reduced to 2 nights spread over multiple locations.

  3. The intending tourists may get Trunaat/CB Naat Test Negative Report in alternative to RT-PCR Test, but still from the accredited and authorised laboratory within a period of 96 hours till the state border.

  4. Children less than 10 years of age are exempted from compulsory testing provided all the accompanying adults have been tested and have produced the requisite proof.

  5. Tourists shall get themselves registered on website www.covid19epass.hp.gov.in at least 24 hours before visiting Himachal under tourist category.

  6. Tourists must have downloaded Arogya Setu app on their mobiles.

  7. The Driver who is just dropping the guest will be exempted from the quarantine (whether he is in a private vehicle)

These are some of the compulsory guidelines which are necessary to be followed while travelling to Himachal Pradesh.

Please be careful and travel with utmost safety.
