Vaishno Devi increases the daily limit of tourists to 500

Vaishno Devi temples which had earlier opened its door for visitors on 16 Aug has relaxed the number of daily visitors on the SOP (Standard operation policy). The latest update says that the cap on daily visits has gone upto 500 people.

As the shrine has opened for public after nearly 5 long months but with necessary restrictions to ensure safety amidst the pandemic for the visitors .

Places of accomodatiion for the vistors at the Bhawan ,Katra , Adhkuwari and Jammu are open now .

All the special services like battery operated vehicle , helicopters , passenger ropeways are resumed with new SOPs determined.

People who are wanting to visit will have to register online. Children below 10 years, pregnant women, senior citizens and those with any ailments have been advised not to undertake the pilgrimage.
